Find a substitute for a few class meetings of a course

1. From a display Timetable, select the resource from the list on the left to view his/her timetable.
2. Highlight the weeks of the concerned class meetings on the slider at the bottom of the screen.
3. Click on the course to display the course form, and click on next to the name of the teacher to be replaced.

1. In the pop-up window, select a substitute and validate.

1. A window appears and offers you to Retain the initial class meetings as canceled courses:
   
   • do not tick the option if you do not want to keep a trace of the change;
   • tick the option if it is a replacement, which needs to be communicated as such: on the timetables, the class meeting with the original teacher will appear as canceled, and the new class meeting with the substitute will be superimposed on it. In addition, the initial class meeting will be counted as a canceled class meeting in the summaries.

1. If you keep the original class meetings in the canceled courses, select the reason for the cancelation and enter a comment if necessary.

Find a substitute for all the courses of an absent teacher

1. Go to the tab Schedules > Teachers > List.
2. Select the absent teacher.

1. Go to the menu Extract > Extract the courses of the selection or use the shortcut Ctrl + U: you will switch to the list of courses.
2. Select all the courses Ctrl + A and the courses forms, click on next to the name of the teacher to be replaced.
3. In the pop-up window, select a substitute and validate.

Allow the substitute to give grades

1. Go to the tab Grading > Grading services > Grading services (per class).
2. Select the class from the list on the left.
3. Double-click in the column Teacher of the concerned service.
4. In the selection window, tick the replacement and validate.
