All constraints count when placing courses.

Constraints related to the subjects:
  • the subject incompatibilities that prevent having the same subject several times on the same day
  • the sequencing constraints to have courses in a certain subject before courses in another subject
  • hourly maximums to limit the number of hours of a subject per day or week.
Constraints related to the teachers:
  • the unavailability which indicate the days or time slots in which the teacher should not have classes
  • the hourly maximums to limit the number of hours of course or presence per day, week, year.
Constraints related to the classes:
  • the unavailability that indicate the days or time slots in which the class should not have a course
  • the hourly maximums to limit the number of hours of course per day or week.
Constraints related to the rooms, sites, etc.:
  • the unavailability which indicate the days or time slots in which the room should not be occupied
  • the site constraints with commuting times to comply with and/or a maximum number of site changes per day
  • rooms groups to ensure, for example, that four courses requiring a language lab cannot be placed in the same slot if you only have three language labs
