  • What are father and son courses?

If only some class meetings of a course are affected by a modification (place, memo, type, etc.), HYPERPLANNING shows the course in the list of courses as follows:
  • a first line centralizes the initial information: it is called the father course;
  • the class meetings that share the same characteristics are combined on one line in a son course: there are therefore as many son courses as there are "course variants". If a course takes place in three different slots, there are three son courses.
The father course is identified by the chain on a colored background. The son courses are listed underneath with the chain of the same color. A blue chain indicates that all class meetings can be placed in the same place if necessary. A red chain indicates that the class meetings cannot be placed in the same location.
