  • What are the major steps in creating the timetable?

The creation of the timetable in HYPERPLANNING is traditionally done in two steps.

First step: the creation of the "unplaced" courses
This means listing all the courses to be planned without yet deciding on the time slot in which they will be positioned. You can do this from the curricula if you have created them, by importing the information from an Excel file or by creating the courses by series directly in the software.

Second step: the placement of the courses
All or part of the course placement can be done automatically if you have entered all your constraints in HYPERPLANNING and if you are organized to only allow one user to work on the base during the automatic placement. The placement of courses can also be manual: in this case, HYPERPLANNING constantly diagnoses what is possible and what is not, thus guaranteeing an error-free schedule.
