Type of course
The type of the course is an additional piece of information that can be used to distinguish courses for sorting, displaying or configuring time volumes in course modules.
Creating a course type
- Go to the menu Parameters > Course > Types of courses.
- Click on the creation line, enter a type of course (for example, an oral exam...) and validate with the key Enter.
Assigning a course type to a course
You can assign a course type in different ways:
- When creating a course
by entering the type of course in the creation window. - After its creation
right-click on the course, or course selection, and choose Modify > Type. - By creating a course template indicating the type of course.
- By indicating the type of course in the description of the courses and modules.
Specifying the type of course makes it possible to identify any discrepancies between the number of course hours, tutorials, etc., created in HYPERPLANNING and the number of hours planned in the curriculum for a class.
