  • Managing links between tutorial groups

As long as tutorial groups do not contain students, links are set up between tutorials to prohibit the simultaneous placement of courses occupying tutorials that have or could have students in common. By default, each tutorial is linked to all other tutorials that are not from the same partition.

If you know that a tutorial will never have a student in common with another tutorial, remove the link between the two: you'll increase the placement possibilities.

Once students have been added to tutorial groups, links are no longer dependent on tutorial groups but on students.

Indicate that tutorials from different partitions have no students in common (and can have courses at the same time).

  1. Go to the tab Schedules > Classes > Links between tutorials/options.
  2. Select one of the two tutorials in the list on the left.
  3. Double-click on the link of the second tutorial to delete it (column Parts).

  1. The tutorials in the list Parts are no longer linked to the tutorial selected in the list on the left.

  1. You can also right-click on the class and choose Modify > Management of links > Delete all the manual links.

Managing links can also be done between partitions of different classes.
