  • Define the maximum number of teaching hours for teachers

You can define an annual provision and prohibit its surpassing. You can also define the number of hours (course or presence) per day or week that will be strictly complied with during the automatic placement and reported during an annual placement.

Define an annual provision

Annual provision is the number of "contractual" hours that the teacher is required to provide during the year.
  1. Go to the tab Schedules > Teachers > List.
  2. Select all teachers who have the same annual provision.
  3. Right-click and choose the command Modify > Annual provision.
  4. In the pop-up window, enter the number of hours and validate.

The overrun of the annual provision can be consulted in the column Variance as well as in the teacher selection window, when searching for a replacement teacher, for example. To prevent the annual provision from being surpassed, the authorization Authorize the overrunning of a teacher's provision must be un-ticked in the user profile of the concerned users.

Define hourly maximums

  1. Go to the tab Schedules > Teachers > List.
  2. Select all teachers who have the same maximum.
  3. Right-click and choose one of the commands:
    • Modify > Maximum number of half-days of presence per week
    • Modify > Maximum number of days of presence per week
    • Modify > Maximum number of days of presence per year
    • Weekly hourly maximum
    • Daily hourly maximum
  4. In the pop-up window, enter the maximum and validate.

  1. The maximums are modified. If you do not see them in the list, click on the button at the top right of the list and move the corresponding columns among the displayed columns.
