Organize the data by family
Families allow the creation of fields that were not planned in HYPERPLANNING.
For example, you can create a family that allows sorting your rooms according to their accessibility:
Create a family and its rubrics
- Go to the menu Parameters > Other data > Families.
- Click on New family, enter the designation ACCESSIBILITY and validate with the key Entrée on your keyboard.
- In the pop-up window, select:
- the mode Predefined rubrics to set the possible values;
- the mode Free rubrics to allow the possibility of entering a value.
- If you choose the mode Predefined rubrics, select the created family and click on New rubric to add the different possible values. These rubrics correspond to the options that can be assigned to the concerned resources.
For example a non-accessible room or PMR. - Double-click in the column Used for. In the pop-up window, tick the data to which this new field can be applied.
Associate the data to the rubrics
- Go to the list of the concerned resources (teachers, rooms, etc.)
- Click on the button
at the top right of the list.
- In the customization window, select the corresponding line and drag it to the right among the displayed columns.
- From the list, select the resources to be associated to the same section. Then, right-click Modify > Families > All families with predefined rubrics.
- In the pop-up window, tick the rubric(s) and validate.
Use the families
Sort a list per family
To sort a list using a family, two methods are possible:
- By clicking on the column corresponding to the family.
- By activating the dedicated display via the bouton
at the top right of the list, then by selecting the family to take into account in the drop-down menu at the top of the list.
Filter the resources in a selection window
You can filter the resources by ticking the rubrics to which the resources are associated. HYPERPLANNING then automatically updates the list displayed on the right.
For example: from a course form, you can filter rooms based on their accessibility (PMR, not accessible, etc.).
Specify information on a document related to grading
It is possible to display the rubrics of families associated with students in the headings of documents such as gradebooks, report cards or ECTS summaries by ticking the dedicated option in the mock-up of the document concerned.
