  • Extracting data to reduce the size of lists

In HYPERPLANNING, extracting data means displaying only this data in the lists. This is a precious help for the legibility of the data, which facilitates the manipulations. Learn the shortcuts to extract quickly!

Extract a selection of data

  1. Select the data to be extracted from the list you are working on.
  2. Right-click and choose Extract > Extract the selection or use the shortcut Ctrl + X.

The amount of extracted data compared to the amount of data in the database is displayed on a counter at the bottom left of the list.

Extract all the data

From a list, launch the command Extract > Tout Extract all or use the shortcut Ctrl + T. You can verify that you have all the data in the list by looking at the counter at the bottom left of the list.

Extract courses from a resource

  1. From a list of resources, select the resource whose courses you want to extract.
  2. Right-click and choose Extract > Extract the courses of the selection or use the shortcut Ctrl + U.
  3.  HYPERPLANNING switches to the display Schedules > Courses > List and only displays the courses of the selection.

Extract data according to criteria

  1. From a list, launch the command Extract > Specify an extraction Ctrl + E.
  2. In the pop-up window, tick the wanted options and click on Extract.

Extract data via predefined extractions

On each tab, explore the menu Extract to see which predefined extractions may be useful to you: Extract the courses that do not comply with the constraints (tab Courses), Extract the day's teachers (tab Teachers), Extract the occupied rooms (tab Rooms), etc.
