Modify the main designations
If the terms commonly used in the software ("subject", "teacher", etc.) are not the ones you use, you can replace them with your own ("discipline", "professor", etc.). These terms will appear in the interfaces (tab title, list, course forms, etc.).
- Go to the menu Parameters > General parameters > Designation of the main data.
- Select one of the two ways to do this:
- by replacing existing words (for example replace teacher with professor);
- by completing the existing words (for example, adding researcher to teacher for teacher researcher).
- Enter the singular, plural and an abbreviation for each term. The modifications will be effective at the next start of the application.
