Activate student/legal guardian management
The management of the students is not essential to build the timetable since it is the classes or the groups that are put in the courses. However, it is essential if you want to edit personalized schedules or use features related to attendance or grading.
- Go to the menu Parameters > Other modules > Students.
- Tick Activate student management.
- Indicate what should be taken into account when calculating the number of students in the courses: the actual population or the entered population.
- Indicate which students should be deducted (absent, in internship, etc.).
- Tick Activate parent management if you communicate (send report cards, etc.) with any of them.
