  • Import users from a SQL database

  1. Go to the menu Imports/Exports > TXT/CSV/XML/SQL > Import from a database in a SQL format.
  2. In the import window, choose from the drop-down menu the type of data to import.
  3. Set up the connection to the SQL server using the wizard if necessary.
  4. Enter your query and click on the button Run the query.
  5. Associate each column with a HYPERPLANNING field by clicking on the arrow at the top right of the column. If a column is not to be imported, leave Field ignored. If some data does not correspond to the expected format, it is displayed in red. Move the cursor over it to display the reason for the problem.
  6. To avoid having to do this matching every time you import, you can Save the format (during the next import, you will click on Open to recover it). This formatting can be recovered from one year to the next during the initialization of the database, via an incoming year preparation file.
  7. In the frame Options at the bottom of the window, indicate the sign that separates the data when the same cell contains more than one information (for example, courses containing several teachers, teachers with several subjects, etc.).
  8. Once all the matches have been made, click on the button Import.
