  • Paramétrer l'envoi des e-mails (mode hébergé)

When you send e-mail from your workstation, they can be processed in two ways (depending on the settings you have chosen): either they are sent to recipients directly from the Client , or they are first sent to the Server (which centralizes e-mail from all the Clients in your system), then resent to recipients from that same Server.

Delegate sending e-mail to the Server has several advantages:
  • only one setting to configure (at the Server level, or no configuration at all in hosted mode);
  • no e-mail lost in the event of a malfunction (if the SMTP server is down, e-mail is stored on the Server HYPERPLANNING and resent later);
  • no more waiting during sending, whether you want to continue working or shut down your computer.
If the messaging service is not configured from the Server, it must be defined from each account. The administrator can define messaging profiles, which are then applied by users.

Option No. 1: Centralize the sending of e-mail from the Server

The delegation for sending e-mail is configured by default in hosted mode.

Option No. 2: Sending e-mail from the Client

  1. Go to the menu Configuration > Configure the sending of e-mail for this workstation.
  2. Select the option Personal account, then click the button to add your e- messaging service information.
  3. Click on Next, then enter the verification code you received.
  4. Click on the button Test the sending of e-mail to verify the configuration. If you receive the message time limit exceeded, increase the server's waiting delay.
