I am already a client: how to switch to hosted mode during the year?
When you opt for hosted mode during the year, you must load the database created locally on the hosting console.
Step No.1: Save the base from your HYPERPLANNING Server
Your server must not be activated.
- From the Server (software installed as part of your previous contract), launch the command File > HYPERPLANNING HOSTING >Generate the file [Name_Of_File].HHYP for hosting.
- In the pop-up window, enter the hosting number, then validate.
- Choose the folder in which the file will be generated.
Step No.2: Load the database on the host server
- From the panel My schedules
from the console installed as part of your new contract, click on the tab HYPERPLANNING server.
- In the drop-down menu, make sure that the schedule is selected.
- Click on the button Load a base.
The server must be shut down to perform this operation. If necessary, click on the button Shut down the server. - In the explorer window, designate the file *.HHYP generated in the previous step, then click on the button Open.
- The base is automatically activated.
Step No.3: Recover the users from the Client connected to the non-hosted HYPERPLANNING Server
Once the base *.HHYP saved in step 1, your non-hosted server must be put back into service.
- From th Client, launch the command Imports/Exports > UTSERS > Export the users and their authorizations (*.profils)
- Choose the folder in which the file will be generated.
- From the panel Controller
from the console, click on the button Recover all the users and their authorizations.
- In the explorer window, designate the file *.profils generated from the Client, then click on the button Open.
- A message informs you if the recovery was successful. Click on the button Close.
- Associate the template corresponding to the current year with the schedule. The users and their authorizations are imported into the database. Click on Validate.
Step No4: Connect the Client to the new host Controller
- From the panel Download the Client
of the console in the rubric Connection parameters to the Controller, copy the connection IP address to the Controller.
- In the Client, select Connection to the Controller.
- Paste the login address into your server's contact details.
- Click on the button Connect.
- In the login window, enter your username and password.
