Connect a Client to a schedule
There are two ways to connect from your Client.
Cass No. 1: Connection to the Controller
- From the Client's homepage, select Connection to controller, then click on the button Connect.
- In the connection window, enter your username and password, then click on the button Validate.
- When you log on for the first time, the password personalization window appears. Enter your personalized password in accordance with the institution's password composition rules, then re-enter it to confirm. Click on the button Validate.
- When you log on for the first time, in the Strengthen the security of my account window that appears, select your security preferences for logging on from a new device from among the alternatives proposed by your institution. You may be asked for double authentication in the form of a PIN code. If this is the case, use the numeric keypad to enter your PIN code (minimum 4 digits), then confirm the code by clicking on Validate each time.
If you don't activate the PIN code when you first log on by selecting one of the other two options, you can do so later in the menu My preferences > Security > Protecting my account of Client HYPERPLANNING. - If the device you're connecting from is used only by you or trusted persons, tick I add this device to the list of my "recognized" devices under the name and give it a name (Desktop, Laptop, Secretariat, etc.) by which it can be identified. You will no longer be asked for a PIN code when connecting from this device; only your username and password will be required. Click on Next.
- All active schedules are listed. Double-click on the one you want to connect to.
- You access your base.
Case No. 2: Connection to the Server
- From the Client's homepage, select Direct connection to server, then click on the schedule you want to connect to.
- In the connection window, enter your username and password, then click on the button Validate.
- When you log on for the first time, the password personalization window appears. Enter your personalized password in accordance with the institution's password composition rules, then re-enter it to confirm. Click on the button Validate.
- When you log on for the first time, in the Strengthen the security of my account window that appears, select your security preferences for logging on from a new device from among the alternatives proposed by your institution. You may be asked for double authentication in the form of a PIN code. If this is the case, use the numeric keypad to enter your PIN code (minimum 4 digits), then confirm the code by clicking on Validate each time.
