  • How to prohibit some IP addresses from connecting to the Server?

By default, all IP addresses connecting to the Server and to the Controller are authorized and verified (blocking after erroneous authentication, limitation of connections per second, etc.).
You have the choice between:
  • keeping this configuration and if necessary, prohibiting some IP addresses,
  • allow only some IP addresses.

Prohibit some IP addresses

  1. From the Server , go to the panel Security parameters.
  2. Click on the tab Address management.
  3. Choose Verify all the addresses.
  4. Enter the prohibited addresses (in red):
    • If there are several consecutive addresses, enter the first address, then the last;
    • if the addresses are not consecutive, enter as many lines as there are addresses.
  5. At the same time, you can define preferred addresses (in blue), on which no verification is conducted.

Only authorize some IP addresses

  1. From the Server , go to the panel Security parameters.
  2. Click on the tab Address management.
  3. Choose Prohibit all the addresses.
  4. Enter the authorized addresses, either as preferred addresses (in blue) or as verified addresses (in green):
    • If there are several consecutive addresses, enter the first address, then the last;
    • if the addresses are not consecutive, enter as many lines as there are addresses.
