  • The workstation on which the Server is installed will be replaced. How to proceed ?

It is possible that you will have to change the machine on which the Server is installed during the year. Here is everything you need to do.

On the machine in use

  1. Go to the application HYPERPLANNING Administration Server  .
  2. Click on the button Shut down of the activation to shut down the Server.
  3. Launch the command File > Make an archive.
  4. Copy the obtained *.archs or *.zip file on a removable media.
  5. Launch the command Configuration > About and copy the letter of the computer on which the Server is installed: you will need it to register the Server license on the new machine.

On the new machine

  1. Download and install the Server .
  2. Register your license online (Internet connection required): launch the command File > Utilities > Automatically register your license.
  3. Please have an Index Education invoice ready to enter your customer reference and invoice number. Also enter your e-mail address.
  4. Indicate that you have changed hardware and enter the letter of the old machine.
  5. Reset the database: from the panel corresponding to the schedule, launch the command File > Recover an archive > encrypted and select the file *.archs on your removable drive.
  6. Click on the button Activate this schedule.
