  • How are the applications updated during the year? (non-hosted mode)

Since version 2013, Index Education applications update automatically via a Windows Service present on the machine. For this update to work, this machine must have free access to the Internet. During busy periods, this update can be conducted after several attempts (temporary overload of the servers, saturation of the bandwidth). For Clients, the update is only offered if your Server is already updated.

For your information, if your software fails to update, you can consult an event log to find out the cause of the problem. To access it, launch the command Configuration > Update from your software and click on the button View the update service log. If you contact Index Education's support service, the content of this log will make it easier to analyze the problem to find the cause and propose a satisfactory solution.
