  • New customer: First steps for the hosting manager

After placing an order with Index Education's sales department, the institution designates and transmits the contact details of the hosting manager for the structure via a form. This person, equipped with the necessary identification details, can then connect to the hosting console for the first time, and create the superadministrator who will then be responsible for deploying the hosted solution.

Step No. 1: Reception of connection information

Once the hosting manager has been declared, Index Education sends the hosting number and invoice number by e-mail. Make sure you have this information in your possession by consulting the e-mail Index Education - Hosting information in your mailbox.



At the same time, you receive a password by SMS.



Step No. 2: Connection to hosting console

The hosting manager connects to a hosting console from which he/she controls HYPERPLANNING's server applications.

  1. From an Internet browser, go to the following address indicated in your initial letter: https://www.index-education.com/fr/console-hebergement-hyperplanning.php
  2. Download the application and follow the installation procedure.



  3. From the workstation where the console is installed, double-click on the shortcut installed on your desktop.
  4. Select Je me connecte en tant que | responsable de l'hébergement (I log in as | hosting manager).
  5. Enter the hosting number (12 digits, sent by e-mail) and the hosting console password (14 characters, sent by SMS), then click on the button Se connecter à la console d'hébergement (Connect to the hosting console).



  6. In the next window, enter the invoice number (10 digits, sent by e-mail), then click on the button Installer le certificat (Install the certificate).



    You will only be asked for your invoice number when you log on for the first time.
  7. A window confirms that the certificate has been installed. Click on the button Se connecter à la console d'hébergement (Connect to the hosting console).



  8. The console configuration page is then displayed in a browser tab.
  9. Tick J'accepte le Contrat de licence (I accept the License Agreement), then click on the button Accepter (Accept).

The console password specific to the hosting manager cannot be changed. We recommend that you keep it in a safe place, otherwise you'll need to reset it via sales or after-sales service.

Step No. 3: Configuration of schedules

Only the hosting manager has access to the panel Configuration and can therefore configure schedules
  1. In the panel Configuration of the console, enter a domain name.
  2. Confirm the association of the domain name with the controller by clicking on Yes.
  3. Modify the schedule name as appropriate, then click on Ok in the pop-up window.
  4. Leave ticked the box Activer une licence HYPERPLANNING.net (Activate a HYPERPLANNING.net license).
  5. Enter the associated domain name.
  6. In the confirmation window, click on Yes.
  7. Proceed in the same way for the second schedule.

Step No. 4: Creation of the first superadministrator

  1. Click n the pane Controller of the console.
  2. Create the superadministrator by entering:
    • the first name,
    • the surname,
    • the username
    • the password (to be confirmed).
  3. Click on the button Create the superadministrator.

  4. A window confirms the creation of the superadministrator. Click on the button Ok.
  5. From the panel Controller  of the console, click on the tab List of users. The superadministrator is now visible.



  6. Authorize the superadministrator to access the console. Enter a valid e-mail address, then tick the column .



Step No. 5: Assigning the superadministrator to an Administration profile

To enable the superadministrator to connect to the database, he/she must then be assigned to the profile Administration for the concerned schedule.

  1. From the panel Controller  of the console, click on the tab Assigning to profiles.
  2. Select the schedule, then click on the profile Administration.
  3. In the pop-up window, tick the superadministrator, then validate.



  4. The superadministrator is assigned to the profile Administration.



Step No. 6: Transmission of connection elements to the superadministrator

If the hosting manager is not also a superadministrator, once the schedules have been configured and the superadministrator created, he/she no longer needs to act on the console. All that remains now is to send the superadministrator the information he/she needs to connect to the console:

Once the console is installed, the superadministrator will select the option I login as| Superadministrator or Base administrator and will be able to enter the transmitted connection information.
